ONE MAN ARMY AND THE UNDEAD QUARTET, featuring vocalist Johan Lindstrand (formerly of THE CROWN), have issued the following update from the man himself:

"Hello fellow Army dudes!

Johan here with some last words on this blog. The mixing is almost done. I've heard 5 - 6 tracks and it has completely blown my mind. It's a very well produced death metal album to say the least. It's the most massive production I've been involved with during my entire life and I've done a couple of albums throughout the years.

Everyone's happy with their own work. All from songwriting to performance so we can't wait to play this for you and then finally get on the road and start with some serious action together with you.

So we in The Army would like to thank all of you who followed this progress closely. Hopefully you will buy the album and love it as much as we do. Cheers to you all.

As previously reported, Grim Tales (cover art pictured on the left) is the title of the new album from One Man Army And The Undead Quartet. It will contain the following ten songs, in no particular order: 'Misfit With A Machinegun', 'Cursed By The Knife', 'Saint Lucifer', 'Bastards Of Monstrosity', 'Dominator Of The Flesh', 'A Date With Suicide', 'Make Them Die Slowly', 'Bonebreaker Propaganda', 'The Frisco Reaper', 'Death Makes It All Go Away'.

Expected release date is October/November 2008 via Nuclear Blast.

Also, during the recordings for Grim Tales, the band decided to do a "Making of" DVD to release as a bonus with the album.
