VEX singer Orlando Logan Perez (AGAINST THE PLAGUES) has issued the following studio report in regards to the recordings for Vex’s full length-album, Thanatopsis:

"Greeings to all !

I haven't really had the time to say anything or make a statement about the Vex recording. I suppose some of it has to do with it not being completed and me being busy with work and Against the Plagues.

Well in a nutshell, it goes like this: I went in for several sessions but couldn't go back due to conflicting schedules with the studio. So we are needing about 2 more sessions (maybe 1) to do some additional vocal tracks and a lead or two. Oh, and some cowbell.

But I want to assure everyone that thankfully, Thanatopsis is almost finished, and we are all very excited - we want to make this the best we possibly can. However much time and money it takes, or how many miles I have to drive to and from work from the studio - which is about an hour away.

Don't worry you will get to hear me bitch about that on the video. So now, we are basically just waiting on Tim (the engineer for the recording) to be ready for me to go back in. I don't know how long it could take. Could be another month, but hopefully it will be sooner. We already have material for another album that we want to get started with.

I also want to point out that alot of the material you are hearing in the video clip is "RAW" and will more than likely sound a bit more full and intense once we get to the mixing and mastering.

One more thing. Ciaran is in Ireland right now visiting "the homeland", and everyone in Texas wishes him a safe journey back - there will be cold ale waiting for ya, lad!"
