Prior to celebrating his historic 6000th concert on Friday, July 4 at the outdoor DTE Energy Amphitheater in his hometown of Detroit, Michigan, rock legend TED NUGENT spoke to Anne Carlini from WRIF radio in Detroit, MI. Click here to listen to the entire interview.

Nugent told Livedaily.com recently that he is working on new material. He has wrote a song called 'ThrottleMaster', a song that celebrates his music and his career."It's just such a joy to unleash the guitar every night with these guys [behind] me. I'd like to think that we're the throttlemasters. If you're gonna really celebrate the American dream, you should probably throttle it. Music is always coming out of me. It's just this unstoppable force."
