EXILIA Sign With AFM Records, New Album Due In October

Italy's EXILIA have signed with German label AFM Records, home of JON OLIVA'S PAIN, DESTRUCTION and HELSTAR to name a few. Frontwoman Masha Mismane has issued the following statement with regards to the band's as-yet-untitled forthcoming album:
“We can tell you in advance 'it rocks!' We are all very excited and I can tell you, that this album will be the heaviest record so far since the birth of Exilia. We managed to unleash even more hidden talents of our great guitarist Alien, and with the return of our great drummer Ale there is no lack of power! After a lot of hard work on melodies and lyrics over the past year, I’m also very pleased with the outcome of my vocals! There are definitely unique elements within every song. I wanted to give them an edge whilst maintaining the original and true characteristics of Exilia. The mixing of the new album starts this week in LA so as you can imagine we are extremely excited to hear the end results soon. I can honestly say, I can’t wait to perform these songs live for you guys to enjoy! Rock On!”Some of the songs will be produced by Dave Chavarri from ILL NINO, while Christhian Machado is singing on the album along with Masha. The album is scheduled for an October release.
