RAVAGE, the heavy metal band from Boston, MA announced today that former bass player Howie Snow has returned to the band to complete the band's rhythm section. Howie played on a track on the band's 2005 full-length release Spectral Rider and performed with the band at The Swordbrother's Festival in Andernach, Germany in 2006.

Lead singer Al Ravage had these comments: "We didn't want to upstage Senator Barack Obama as he was announcing his pick of 'Bloviatin'" Joe Biden to run along side him, so we waited until today and we are now announcing that after months of using temporary bass players, we've chosen our very own loud-mouth jerk to complete our crew of assholes - Howie 'The Mosh Pig' Snow! Seriously though, Howie is a great guy and a fantastically energetic force and we welcome him back. I think we are at our best with Howie as he adds an element of brutality to our most melodic parts on recordings and fans love his frantic energy on the live stage."

In other Ravage news, the band just completed a cover of the WARLOCK song 'Cold World' for a forthcoming Warlock tribute album to be released by Pure Steel Records. More details TBA.

Ravage recently released a six song EP Freedom Fighter on the band's own SWWR Productions Label. The release has garnered strong reviews in anticipation of the band's forthcoming full-length release The End Of Tomorrow, due out later this year on a label tba.
