As UNDEROATH prepare for the September 2nd release of Lost In The Sound Of Separation -- their fourth album on Seattle’s Tooth & Nail/Solid State Records -- the band has announced that the video for the striking first single 'Desperate Times, Desperate Measures' will premiere this Saturday, August 30 via MTV2’s You Rock The Deuce at 10:00pm EST/PST. Following its premiere, the video will air on MTV2’s Headbanger’s Ball. The video -- directed by Walter Robot (MODEST MOUSE 'Missed the Boat') -- made its online debut on Friday, August 28 on MTV.com and the Headbanger’s Ball blog .

Writer Christa Titus reviewed the single, which arrives at Modern and Active Rock radio on September 12th, in the current Billboard by noting: “One moment Tim McTague and James Smith's guitars careen and slice the air like jerky chain saws and the next they're in a spiraling melodic free fall. Spencer Chamberlain's vocals volley back and forth, sometimes singing, sometimes hoarsely bawling. All are surrounded by Underoath's ever-present urgency, as if its world is about to come crashing down upon it, which makes the song's climactic, cold ending appropriate (August 30th, 2008)."

While in NYC next week (September 2nd) for their CD release show at Irving Plaza and Virgin Megastore-Times Square in-store, the group will tape an episode of Fuse TV’s Steven’s Untitled Rock Show. Expect an air-date to be announced soon.
