BW&BK; has received the following:

In the great outdoors, rock n' roll's foremost hunter and hero, TED NUGENT, reigns supreme. With his hit Outdoor Channel hunting show, Ted Nugent Spirit Of The Wild, Ted has solidified himself as one of the most prominent and revered figures in outdoor culture. Through a combination of woodsman savvy, razor sharp wit and articulate musings on wilderness survival, he stands alone as a show host. In the midst of another successful summer of rock, Ted launched Spirit Of The Wild's latest and greatest season on July 1st.

The show has become a massive success on the wildly popular Outdoor Channel. The channel has more than 31 million subscribers, and it's available to more than 80 million homes. On-air and online, the Outdoor Channel is the hub for millions of folks passionate about all things outdoors. Airing three times a week, year-round, Spirit Of The Wild is a landmark show for the network, and it's brought this folk culture to a whole new audience. At this year's annual Golden Moose Awards, Ted and his wife Shemane were voted, "Fan Favorite Show Hosts." Spirit Of The Wild is also a four-time winner of the prestigious People's Choice Golden Moose Award. It's been the #1 hunting show on the Outdoor Channel for four years. However, as always with Ted, he's about to take things to the next level.

The latest season of Spirit Of The Wild follows Ted and Shemane on hunting, fishing, trapping, off-roading and hiking expeditions across breathtaking landscapes alongside their children and assorted guests. The family dynamic is exuberant and explosive, and it's hard for viewers to change the channel. Unlike standard hunting programs, family values prove just as important for survival as a bow and arrow do.

Says Ted: “Celebrating a lifetime of hands-on conservation, the Nugent family's passion and genuine believability has brought not only legions of new, young viewers to the Outdoor Channel, but actually recruited them into gung-ho outdoors enthusiasts. The Nugent's Spirit of the Wild American Dream is America's dream TV show.”

On stage, Ted wails and wins crowds over with his legendary guitar chops, but on television, it's his vibrant persona as a family man/sagely hunter that casts a spell on audiences. Ted feels at home in the wild, and “Spirit” proves that with an edgy style and up-close-and-personal episodes that delve into the heart of the wilderness. Breaking from the confines of typical 21st century comforts, Ted takes viewers on an unfiltered, unbridled and unfettered romp through his domain.

Beyond the realm of television, Ted's star has been burning brighter than ever. He celebrated his 6000th show in his hometown of Detroit at DTE Energy Music Theater on July 4. His 50th tour last summer brought the "Uncle Ted" experience to music lovers young and old across the United States and Europe with the same fire he's always brandished.

In June, he dropped a live CD and DVD companion entitled Sweden Rocks via Eagle Rock Entertainment. Ted's sold over 35 million albums worldwide, and Sweden Rocks just ups the ante. His forthcoming book, Ted, White & Blue: The Nugent Manifesto, is due out October 6 via Regnery Publishing and can be pre-ordered at www.amazon.com. It features 10 chapters on how to fix America according to "Nuge."

As if being a guitar god and literary pundit weren't enough, Ted made his feature film debut on August 8 in the zany road trip comedy, Beer for My Horses—also starring Toby Keith, Claire Forlani, Rodney Carrington, Tom Skerritt and Willie Nelson.

Further adding to his television accolades, Ted recently popped up on significant segments of Criss Angel's A&E; show “Mindfreak” and Anthony Bourdain's hit Travel Channel series “No Reservations.”

Bourdain made the trek down to Ted's Texas ranch to film a raucous episode of “No Reservations,” and it was packed with grilling and guns. Meanwhile, Ted shot Criss Angel with an arrow during a daring “Mindfreak” stunt. Ted also appeared on the “Glenn Beck Program” on CNN Headline News where he was interviewed for a full hour show last Friday, August 29. From his T.V. presence and big screen debut to the impending release of his latest book, Ted remains a cultural force to be reckoned with.

Ted's unmistakable and unshakable "Spirit" shines through in everything he does, representing the future of outdoor programming!
