MAYHEM To Reschedule Australian Dates

Norwegian black metallers MAYHEM have issued the following update:
"To all the Aussies out there!As many of you know, the previous Australian tour was cancelled. Mayhem was extremely disappointed and outraged for the cancellations. This was COMPLETELY out of the bands control.
Mayhem wants to let you know that the fans down under have not been forgotten. An Australian tour is in the works right now. Mayhem will not release official dates until the tour is SOLID to avoid any further disappointments or screw ups!
Just wanted to let everyone know that the band knows Australia demands Mayhem and they will answer the call! Look for dates in the VERY near future...
Horns Up."
As previously reported, Mayhem are among the acts confirmed for Maryland Deathfest VII, scheduled for May 22nd - 24th, 2009 at the Sonar in Baltimore, MD.
The following acts have now been confirmed for the festival: PESTILENCE, MAYHEM, ATHEIST, ASPHYX, IMMOLATION, BRUTAL TRUTH, ABSCESS, HAIL OF BULLETS, GENERAL SURGERY, TODAY IS THE DAY, PHOBIA, SAYYADINA, FLESH PARADE, JIG-AI, ANTIGAMA, CROWPATH, GNOSTIC, MAN MUST DIE, ENTRAILS MASSACRE,
TRIAC.
