KATAKLYSM Win "Best Metal Album" Award

Nuclear Blast Records reports:
Prevail, the most recently acclaimed album by Canada's hyperblasters KATAKLYSM, has won for "Album Of The Year" in the "Metal/Hardcore" category at the Quebec Indie Music Awards (GAMIQ), an awards show that recognizes achievements by Quebec independent artists. The event is produced by the Quebec Independent Music Association which is also behind the Montreal International
Music Initiative (MIMI). Kataklysm has released the following statement in regards to this rather flattering victory:
“Kataklysm would like to thank the board of judges and all the people that voted for Prevail. We were super psyched as it was just to be nominated but now that we’ve actually won we can’t really explain how great it feels. It’s definitely an honor, especially since we were up against some great artists. What a great way to start our North American tour in a few days! We can’t wait to get out there and show the rest of the world what Quebec already knows; Kataklysm will Prevail!"
