FIREWIND Guitarist GUS G. Donates Memorabilia Items To JASON BECKER Charity

FIREWIND have issued the following update:
"Gus G. (guitars) has personally donated personal memorabilia items to the Jason Becker charity organization which is put together by Ron Coolen. The money that is generated from this auction or sale will be used to support the care of Jason Becker.Some other artists that have contributed so far, are Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Ron Thal, Mike Keneally, Joe Stump, David Lee Roth band, etc.
Ron Coolen has organized support for Jason Becker via the foundation of a volunteer and nonprofit organization early 2008. Jason Becker is known as one of the most gifted and talented guitar players in the history of music, as all world class guitarists unanimously will confirm. In 1991, while recording the 'A Little Ain't Enough' record as the lead guitarist of the David Lee Roth Band at the age of 21, Jason was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's Disease), and was given less than three years to live. Fortunately Jason is still with us, but he needs 24/7 care and support.
