According to Paul Sexton from Billboard.biz, METALLICA's Death Magnetic (Vertigo/Universal) secures a fourth week atop European Top 100 Albums. The album now has two more weeks to go to match the initial success of its 2003 predecessor St. Anger, which topped the pan-European chart for six weeks. The new set is still No. 1 in Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and Greece and holds at No. 2 in Portugal, Italy, Holland and Hungary, but slips 1-2 in Poland and Austria.
