UK crust punk pioneers EXTREME NOISE TERROR have announced they will release a new best-of compilation titled Back To The Roots as a sliding scale download through Canada's Moshpit Tragedy Records.

The 17-song release will soon be available from www.moshpit-tragedy.com complete with a printable sleeve for as much or as little as each visitor chooses and is even being offered for free to those without a paypal account, an option Label Founder Rayny Forster claims is necessary to gain the fan's respect in times when illegal downloading is the only alternative fans have to paying high prices.

Extreme Noise Terror formed in 1985 playing grinding hardcore punk with politically charged & socially aware lyrics. They released a split LP with Choas UK before playing live on John Peel's show, which was later released by the BBC. In 1992 the band made national headlines when they performed at the Brit Awards by firing blanks from a machine gun at the unsuspecting audience.

The tracklisting for Extreme Noise Terror 'Back To The Roots' is as follows: 'Work For Never', 'Third World Genocide', 'Screaming Fucking Mayhem', 'False Profit', 'What Do You Care?', 'Pray To Be Saved', 'Think About It', 'Deceived', 'Murder', 'Use Your Mind', 'Bullshit Propaganda', 'Raping The Earth', 'System Shit', 'No Threat', 'Show Us You Care', 'Living Hell', 'Mass Control'.
