THIN LIZZY guitarist Scott Gorham has issued the following blog entry from Vienna, Austria:

"How do you describe a city like Vienna the right way if you're not really an accomplished wordsmith?

With difficulty, that's how. I've been here a few times before, and each time I come back I get stunned with it's beauty, and grandness and the great attention to detail the architects of that era actually had. And, going back to our hotel after the show and seeing Vienna at night with all the city lights highlighting each building was, for me, even better. Stunning!!

After the jet-lagged and unfortunate tired performance in Basel, (thanks again Basel you were great!) we felt we were back on track and ready to hit it.

Man, we had a great time, and from what I saw from the stage, everyone had a great time. Vienna rocks!! Its not just a very cool city with great scenery, you guys are loud and proud and not afraid to show it. You just gotta love it. Aahh, we needed that! Thanks for a great time everybody!

We're going into Germany for the next couple of weeks, so I'm going to sign off for a while.

There's still two new places we haven't been to that I'll try and share with you. I've been writing these little pieces, to try and give some sort of impression of what "warm-up" shows are, and what it's like for us to play in places where we've not been before.

The last two shows we have are in Warsaw and Prague. These are two places I've been really looking forward to so, I'll check back in with you later!"
