Swedish metallers IN FLAMES have issued the following:

"On October 11th, 2008 at The B1 Maximum Club in Moscow, the RAMP (Rock Alternative Music Prize) ceremony took place.

It is the very first and the only prize winning ceremony in Russia that awards musicians for the achievements in the rock-alternative music. The ceremony was founded by Russian music television A-ONE TV (The First Alternative Music Television) in 2005. Over the last few years, RAMP has become the one of the most prestigious prizes in the Russian music industry.

People all over the Russian Federation and beyond its territory were watching RAMP 2008 online.

Over 120,000 people voted on-line. The nominees were:
