AC/DC’s Rock Or Bust Trek Among Forbes’ “Top International Tours”

From classic rock greats like AC/DC and David Gilmour to modern rockers Coldplay and Muse, a handful of huge tours have launched into 2016 and will continue throughout the year, drawing large crowds with high demand for tickets in markets where performances have long sold-out, reports Forbes.com.

The following is an excerpt from a breakdown of some of the top tours overseas, with pricing information provided by international ticket marketplace viagogo.com.

AC/DC has been a top name in the past year when it comes to global rock tours, and their Rock Or Bust headlining trek kicked off again this month in the states, launching February 2nd in Tacoma, and closing out in New York City on April 4th. The classic rock group will swing overseas May 7th in Portugal to play a string of 12 international dates that will wrap up on June 12th in Denmark. The band’s tour is in support of their 2014 release, Rock Or Bust, and marks the group’s seventeenth studio album.

Unsurprisingly, tickets to see AC/DC have remained pricey since the band’s Rock Or Bust tour launched last spring. Overseas, the band will play their priciest show on May 27th in Bern, Switzerland, where the cheapest ticket available for currently priced at $233, and their most affordable date is scheduled to be a Marseille, France stop on May 13th, where the get-in price is available for $94.
