ANACRUSIS Guitarist KENN NARDI Announces Addition Of Former Bandmate Chad Smith

Kenn Nardi, the guitarist and vocalist behind Anacrusis has checked in with the following update:

“Rehearsals are coming along nicely. I've been teaching the new guys some old Anacrusis tunes along with lots of stuff from my Dancing With The Past album. I am very excited about how this stuff is going to sound live.

“I wanted to let everyone know there has been a line-up change...Mike Henricks, who covered our 2nd guitar spot for the Anacrusis festival and Reunion gigs following the 2010 Keep It True gig just didn't have the time right now to devote to rehearsals and the possibility of doing more shows overseas next year, so we now have Erik Boschert joining us on guitar. Erik and Chris Speciale (who will be playing bass) were in the band Krude Slit together back in the '80s. Krude Slit were a very cool local St. Louis band that played many shows both with Heaven's Flame and Anacrusis in the mid-late '80s. Both are long-time friends and great players and bring a special chemistry to the mix, having played together for so many years. Things are sounding great so far, but we still have a lot of work ahead of us.

“And remember, fan-favorite Chad E. Smith (who Anacrusis fans know from his great work on the Manic Impressions album) will be holding it all together on the drums. We are both really looking forward to playing music together again.

“Also, I hope to come over for a couple weeks this time and do a handful of special shows either before or after KIT next April, so stay tuned for details as we set things up. It would be great to have a chance to play some longer shows for the die-hard fans where we can throw in a few more tunes (both from Anacrusis and DwtP). Hopefully we'll be able to make this happen.”

Nardi released his debut solo album Dancing With The Past via Divebomb Records in November 2014. The album is a 2CD set featuring 28 tracks with over 2 hours of music.
