During a recent interview with BW&BK;'s Carl Begai (found here), ANNIHILATOR guitarist Jeff Waters commented on the news that he's due to guest on a cover of 'Alison Hell' done by DEVILMENT, featuring CRADLE OF FILTH frontman Dani Filth:

"I haven't heard from them in a while, so either the project is going slower than they thought or they dropped the idea. I was contacted by them and they told me they were going to tune the song down, and I thought that 'Alice In Hell' would be the perfect song for Dani Filth to cover. I hope it happens."

In addition, Waters spoke about guesting on CHILDREN OF BODOM's cover of BANANARAMA's 'Cruel Summer', a bonus track recorded during the sessions for the new COB album Halo Of Blood, which has yet to surface:

"That was one of those things where Alexi (Laiho/guitars, vocals) just texted me and said 'You owe me a solo, motherfucker'; you know, it was written the way he speaks (laughs). He went right into it and told me it was a Bananarama cover song, and that's all he needed to say (laughs). His engineer sent the song to me, I did the solo and sent it back, and I got a message back from Alexi saying something like 'You ripped on that, dude, now I've gotta kick your ass...' or something like that."

Annihilator's latest effort, Feast, is charting higher than any previous album since 2001.
