ARCHER To Release New Mike Clink-Produced Album Via Metalville This Summer

Fresh off the heels of US tours with renowned metal acts HellYeah and Doro, the hard rock/heavy metal outfit Archer announces their third full-length album, Culling The Weak, will be released via Metalville Records on August 21st.

Hailing from Santa Cruz, California, the power trio featuring Dylan Rose (guitarist/lead vocals), David DeSilva (bass/vocals), and Keyhan Moini (drums) recently wrapped up the recording of Culling The Weak with renowned producer Mike Clink (Guns N' Roses, UFO, Megadeth) at the helm. Recorded at Sound Instinct Studio in Hollywood, California, Clink spearheaded the recording process while Maor Appelbaum (Halford, Sepultura, Yngwie Malmsteen) handled the mastering of the album.

“Working with Mike Clink was an incredible experience," states DeSilva. “He was great at maximizing the potential of each song while still preserving our sound. He has an intangible quality in the way he produces which is reflected in his body of work. He was a key element in the sound of this new album.”

Culling The Weak tracklisting:

“Belief”
“Hurl The Cross”
“Culling The Weak”
“World Of One”
“Dawn Of Dilution”
“King For A Day”
“Day That Never Came”
“My Atrocity”

The combination of Moini’s unique drumming, DeSilva’s masterful bass prowess, and Rose’s captivating blend of guitar and vocals make for an exciting modern take on the genre while paying homage to the heavy metal inspirations that drive them.

Having toured and performed alongside some of the genre’s biggest acts including festival appearances at Sweden Rock, Bang Your Head!!! and Midwest Rockfest, the group has done multiple touring runs with Zakk Wylde’s Black Label Society in the US, Canada, and Europe.

In August, Archer will perform a string of US shows before joining up with Canadian thrash legends Annihilator on their Europe In The Blood Tour beginning September 30th at the O2 Academy in Birmingham, England and Doro later in the year.
