ATTOMICA Singer ALEX RANGEL Killed In Motorcycle Accident

Alex Rangel, singer of Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil-based band Attomica, passed away today (May 21st) at 35 years old, having been involved in a motorcycle accident at 6 AM. Alex was on his way home when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed.

Alex began his musical career when he was still a teenager, and has always impressed people with his technique and amazing high pitched screams.

Attomica producer Bruno Mantovanni states: “Got the though task to bring the worst news ever. Alex Rangel, lead singer of Attomica, died after a bike accident. Today, he joined a bunch of rock legends. It’s a moment of grief and deep pain for Brazilian metal fans. As a friend and producer of Attomica, I leave these words of sympathy to friends and family.”

Currently in Attomica, Wikimetal report that Rangel was also the lead singer in the bands Hocus Pocus (tribute to Aerosmith), Immigrants (to Led Zeppelin) and Jailbreak (AC/DC).
