BLACK SABBATH – Fans To Celebrate Paranoid Album Anniversary In Original Rehearsal Rooms

According to the Birmingham Mail, fans will celebrate the 45th anniversary of the classic Black Sabbath album Parnoid.

50 fans will be inside the Newton Community Centre room on Sunday, September 20 in an event called Ozzy Tig, The Witch + The Warpig and will include a vinyl playback of the band’s first two albums along with some of their musical influences and memorabilia display.  The three-hour event has been organized by rock historian Rob Horrocks, who has pioneered his own walking tour called Crossroads of Sabbath around the band’s native Aston streets.

Paranoid was released on September 18, 1970 on Vertigo Records and features the classic, well-known Sabbath tracks “War Pigs”, “Paranoid”, and “Iron Man”. It was the band’s only album to top the UK Albums Chart until their last album, 13, achieved the same feat.
