Guitarist Tobias Olsson, from Swedish melodic death metal act BLINDED COLONY, has issued the following update:

"We are excited to announce that next Tuesday we will start filming the music video for the next Bedtime Prayers single, 'Heart'! We will onceagain be working with producer Thomas Tjäder (IN FLAMES), who also produced the video for 'Once Bitten, Twice Shy'. He did a fantastic job and we are sure that the Blinded Colony fans will be glad to hear that the 'Heart' video will be less performance based, and more plot based. But that is all the info I want to let out for now. Bottom line: the 'Heart' video will slay!

We also have made a live video of the song '21st Century Holocaust' is now available on our MySpace Page as well as the Pivotal Rockordings' YouTube channel. The audio is taken from the Vienna show, and the video shots are taken from our performances at Vienna, Brno, Salzburg, Wachenrot, and Köln. So if you were in the crowd at those gigs, check out the video, you may be shown in the crowd cheering us on! We look forward to hearing what everyone thinks of the video, and remember, this is the only place you can hear the song '21st Century Holocaust' aside from on Bedtime Prayers.

We are happy to announce that we received an endorsement with the famous UK based merch designer Ed Stone (LAMB OF GOD, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, TRIVIUM, SHADOWS FALL, CHIMAIRA). So expect to see some kick ass merch designed by Ed Stone coming out in the near future on our upcoming tours and on our website (www.blindedcolony.com).

Last and certainly not least, many of you may be familiar with Metal Girl, the Belgian break dancing sensation, and may we add, the only true metal breaker. We are currently working with her on an awesome video clip encompassing multiple live videos shot on our Outcasts Over Europe tour with EKTOMORF and KAYSER. That is definitely something everyone should keep an eye out for!"

Blinded Colony's sophomore release Bedtime Prayers dropped January 9 worldwide and January 12 in Europe. The band has followed up the release with a 38-Day tour with Ektomorf and Kayser (Outcasts Over Europe Tour). The band has more plans to tour in the fall.
