Sweden’s BLINDED COLONY has parted ways with vocalist Johan Schuster and bassist Roy Erlandsson due to professional differences. Stepping in as new and permanent full time members are Jeoan Olsson (EVILDOER) on bass and Denny Axelsson (THE BEREAVED, ex-MARAMON, WITHIN REACH, CALM) on vocals.

Guitarist Tobias Olsson comments: “It's always sad when one has to part ways with band members since they more or less become like a family member. Though when people feel uncommitted, or make other career choices, you have to respect it and go on and try to make that best out it. Blinded Colony is thrilled and happy to announce our two new members, Denny Axelsson (vocals) and Jeoan Olsson (bass), to our ranks. These guys are really experienced and full-time pros at what they do. At last I would like to send out a big thank you to Johan and Roy for their time in Blinded Colony, It’s been a blast! And good luck with whatever you take on in the future. To the rest of you, we have some tour plans coming up, so we hope to see ya guys soon and that you’ll give the new members a warm welcome on the road."

Adds new vocalist Denny Axelsson: First of all I would like to send a BIG fucking THANK YOU to all the fans who showed up on my three first shows with Blinded Colony here in Sweden. And gave me a really warm welcome. A very special thanks goes out to all the fans in KarIshamn who where just awesome beyond belief! I´m very glad to be the new singer in the Blinded Colony family and I´m looking forward to a shit load of fun on this kick ass metal journey. And most of all

meeting all of you guys out there and give you a big fat Blinded Colony blast experience."

Adds new bassist Jeoan Olsson: "It’s great to be a part of Blinded Colony! We’ve been friends for quite some time and hopefully we will become even tighter and closer as friends and as band members. I’ll make sure that my responsibilities in the lower frequencies and in the head-banging departments are dead on! Hope to see you guys in the front of the stage!"

Blinded Colony's sophomore release, "Bedtime Prayers", was released in January through Pivotal Rockordings. The band followed up the release with a 38-day tour with EKTOMORF and KAYSER. The band plans to continue touring in the fall.
