Sweden's BLINDED COLONY have inked a deal with Pivotal Rockordings. The band will enter Sound Palace Studios later this month to begin the recording process for their sophomore effort. An album title has not yet been selected.

Says the band, "Hey! Today we can finally reveal what most of you already have realized. We're thrilled to announce that we have inked a new deal with the young but yet very professional label Pivotal Rockordings. We think that this will mark a new era for Blinded Colony. Blinded Colony will once again enter Sound Palace studios and record the follow-up to the 2003 release Divine."

Blinded Colony was formed in 2000 by guitarists Johan Blomström, Tobias Olsson, and vocalist Niklas Svensson. In 2003, the band released their debut album, Divine, through Italy’s Scarlet Records. The following year the band parted ways with both Scarlet Records and vocalist Niklas Svensson. In 2005 Johan Schuster (SKÖRDA) took over vocal duties and the band cut a demo, which caught the attention of Pivotal Rockordings.

The tracks 'In Here' and 'Aarons Sons' can be heard at the band’s website (www.blindedcolony.com) or on the band’s MySpace page (www.myspace.com/blindedcolony).

More information about the release will be made available in the near future.
