#12 - AMORPHIS – Skyforger (Nuclear Blast)

Finnish metallers AMORPHIS stormed the official Finnish Album Charts by entering at #1 when the album was released first in late May! In the US, Skyforger landed at position #33 on Billboard's Heatseekers chart. The follow-up to the Eclipse and Silent Waters LPs, both of which were certified gold in the band's native Finland, was recorded at Sonic Pump Studios in Helsinki. The video for the new track 'Silver Bride' can be viewed below.

Amorphis will release their first-ever live DVD in the spring of 2010, in time for the band's 20th anniversary. The band's November 20th live show at Club Teatria in Oulu, Finland was filmed to mark the anniversary. In addition to the concert, the DVD will include plenty of bonus material.
