Canada’s DEAD QUIET Release Debut Album; “Foul Words” Video Streaming

Vancouver, BC’s Dead Quiet have released their self-titled debut album. The album was recorded last October at Rain City Studios in Vancouver, BC and engineered by Jesse Gander (Bison B.C., The Pack AD, White Lung, Japandroids, Anciients). Order the album here.

Dead Quiet seeks to meld melody with catastrophe as they weave through a dissonant landscape of crushing metallic riffs and somber choral musings. While remaining loyal to many heavy metal foundations, the band is successful at pronouncing a heavy record with depth and honesty. Along with the release of their debut record this fall 2015, Dead Quiet have shared the stage with Saviours, Windhand, Biblical, Anciients, Waingro, Howlin’ Rain and many more.

Tracklisting:

“The Sorceress”
“Foul Words”
“God Was Wrong”
“My Finest Hour”
“Remaining Remains”
“Home Is Where You Go To Die”
“The Fall Of Me”
“Let It Die”

“Foul Words” is the first single / video off of their self-debut album, which was released August 5th. The video was directed by the bands vocalist Kevin Keegan and edited by Liam Mitchell. Filmed on the streets of Vancouver and features cameos by members of 3 Inches Of Blood and Waingro. Watch below:

Dead Quiet was founded in late 2013 by Kevin Keegan (Barn Burner), Jason Dana (Bend Sinister, Karen Foster), and Aaron Gustafson (Anciients) in Vancouver BC, Canada with an array of songs and ideas from the wreckage of Keegan’s former band, Barn Burner. Later addition of guitarist Brock Macinnis (Percheron, Blood River Band), the band was able to take shape and round out the songs for their debut self titled full length LP.

Dead Quiet is:

Kevin Keegan
Jason Dana
Brock Macinnes
Aaron Gustafson
