DOKKEN guitarist Jon Levin underwent surgery for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome in late October. The surgery was conducted in St. Louis, MO at Barnes Jewish Hospital by Dr. Robert W. Thompson. According to a BW&B; source Levin is well on the road to recovery in Los Angeles, CA.

"The surgery was on my neck and shoulder, not my arm or hand" says Levin. "My hand feels great, but I do need some time before I will be able to swing a strap on my shoulder and tour. We are going to wait until May before we start playing again. Thanks to all of the Dokken fans who sent me well wishes."

Levin says he is looking forward to touring with Dokken this summer.

Dokken's 11th album Broken Bones - reportedly their last - is out now in two configurations: standard CD and limited edition CD in digipak with a bonus DVD, which features a comprehensive Making Of The Album documentary.

Dokken recently premiered their new video, for the single 'Empire', which was directed by Devin DeHaven (WHITESNAKE, P.O.D.) and features a post-apocalyptic take on the band's signature sound of catchy melodies, hot riffs and monster production.
