FIREWIND's Gus G. Officially Named As OZZY OSBOURNE's New Guitarist?

According to a posting on Randall Amplifiers Facebook page, FIREWIND guitarist Gus G. has replaced ZAKK WYLDE as OZZY OSBOURNE's new guitarist. Says the post: "Randall Amps is getting ready to watch signature Randall artist Gus G. make his debut as the new guitarist for Ozzy this Saturday, August 22nd. The concert will take place at the Blizzcon convention and be available on DIRECTV pay-per-view. Watch him play his signature Heaven and Hell half stack!”
In July Classic Rock caught up with Ozzy at the SLASH & FRIENDS gig in Norway: “Well, I’m getting a new guitar player as we speak,” said Ozzy. "I haven’t fallen out with Zakk, but Zakk’s got his own band, and I felt like my stuff was beginning to sound like BLACK LABEL SOCIETY. I just felt like I wanted a change, y’know?
The largest event of its kind, BlizzCon is a celebration of Blizzard Entertainment's Warcraft, Diablo, and StarCraft game universes and the global player communities surrounding them. At the closing ceremony on August 22, Ozzy will unleash a thunderous spectacle of rock to put the Lich King in his place and cement his own title as the one true Prince Of Darkness.
20,000 tickets for the event sold out in less than eight minutes, but Direct TV viewers and internet streamers can view the entire convention for $39.95.
