FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH Has Four Songs Recorded For Next Album; Video

Artisan News Service has uploaded a new video featuring Five Finger Death Punch and in the video, the band reveals they have new music recorded and that a new album is on the horizon.

Drummer Jeremy Spencer said “We’re at the studio right now, and we’re recording some new material. We’ve recorded four songs. I’m liking what I’m hearing, but there’s a long way to go.”

Five Finger Death Punch delivered an important message to the world earlier in August with their riveting music video for the new single, “Wrong Side Of Heaven”.

The music video evinces the jaw-dropping and stunning statistics of returning veterans afflicted and living with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Watch below:

In order to raise awareness, the multi-platinum-selling worldwide rock juggernaut didn’t simply talk about the issue - they also went and did something about it…

In tandem with the video’s premiere, the group ignited a special crowd-funding campaign for a jersey entitled 5FDP4VETS - No One Gets Left Behind on Indiegogo. The campaign’s goal of raising $50,000 was bested by double in less than two day’s time - exceeding $100,000. The campaign continues to run and the proceeds will benefit organizations that joined forces with the group to raise awareness for veterans suffering from PTSD.

Fans who pledged will receive a limited-edition jersey created and designed by guitarist Zoltan Bathory. The initial run of shirts ran out, and the band expanded it by 1,000 in order to keep up with the overwhelming demand.

Five Finger Death Punch also hosted a special screening of their new video “Wrong Side Of Heaven” at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, showing their appreciation for the military up-close-and-personal; watch the local news coverage of the event below:

The video has amassed over nearly a million views  since it’s premiere on VEVO Monday, touching viewers everywhere with its poignant message.

In addition, the band launched the webpage 5fdp4Vets.com. It sheds light on veterans afflicted with PTSD, their struggles, and offers a video call-to-action to fans asking them to send in their fallen loved ones’ dog tags to build a memorial wall commemorating them. This memorial wall will be prominently featured on the band’s upcoming fall arena tour as their backdrop. Once the tour concludes, the proper museum will be sought out to showcase this memorial to the fallen heroes who gave their lives serving our country.
