Long-running US thrashers FLOTSAM AND JETSAM check in with the following Thanksgiving greetings:

"From all of us in Flotsam And Jetsam, we would like to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.

This is a time of reflection and gratitude for most people in the US. 2012 marked our 30th year in this crazy business. As a lot of you know it has been a long and hard road for this band over that span. We have faced and overcome many challenges, lineup changes, labels, managers as many bands have done. We are not done fighting. Each and everyone of you and many others we may have missed on this email have been part of our journey.

We wanted to make sure if we haven't said it, we sincerely thank you for all your time, dedication to various projects, tours, recordings, etc... Nothing happens anywhere solely by one person or group it happens by an army of "WE". We couldn't have made it 30 years without you playing a part in it.

2013 is the start of a new release, Ugly Noise and we hope to see you out there on our travels along the way. For some of us it's been some time since we've seen you other not so long. Some this may be the first time for us to meet up. We haven't forgotten you and we know you are out there and look forward to a great renewed 2013.

Cheers, Flotsam and Jetsam."
