According to Menza, "Poland already has six heavy original songs in the can that they already started working on."

The trio (Including James LoMenzo on bass) held its first rehearsal (November 1st), at Menza's, Disintegrator Studios in Studio City, California with plans to release a full-length album in early 2015.

Menza and Lomenzo's first jam session took place on June 25th at Menza's Disintegrator Studios in Studio City, California where they cracked through some of the old Megadeth catalog along  with some of their favorite  Metallica and Led Zeppelin songs.

A cover version from the session of the Metallica classic "Motorbreath", with a guest appearance by guitarist/vocalist Davor Garasic from the Croatian thrash metal band Sufosia, can be streamed below:

Poland: "When I first jammed with Nick and James I was blown away." Nick is like freight train heavy with endless tracks, he can take a song anywhere.  Nick's all about the music. I could hear it right away. This band is going to turn heads. I haven't felt like this about music in a long time. We have met at a perfect time."

Menza: "Working with Chris and James is great; Chris is a guitar scientist that can play anything. We have so many ideas and it’s pretty overwhelming.  We are going to produce some really high energy super heavy, in your face music. So get ready people it starts now. We're making major progress and exploring some unknown territories to create some next level, undeniable material..  I'm sure it will obliterate all that hear it, Stay tuned earthlings."

LoMenzo: I've known Chris for years and have always hoped for the opportunity to play with him and with Nick. With Menza, Chris and myself, this is a very strong band. I'm excited about playing with these guys and the music ahead of us. I think it will blow people's minds."

Chris Poland is best known for his work with Megadeth from 1984 - 1987 - 1990 - 2004 appearing four of the bands highly acclaimed studio albums.  1985's Killing Is My Business... and Business Is Good!, 1986's Peace  Sells... But Who's Buying?, 1990's Rust in Peace Demos and 2004's The System  Has Failed which showcased Poland's dynamic style of playing.

Menza joined Megadeth for the 1990 recording Rust In Peace and for the next ten years became associated with the band's "classic" and most profitable era.

Following the reissue of the entire Megadeth catalog, Menza was invited to reunite with the band in 2004. Days after a reunion was announced, Menza was fired and replaced with Shawn Drover. Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine said that this was because Nick "just wasn't prepared."

LoMenzo joined Megadeth in 2006 and appeared on two of the group's studio albums, 2007's United Abominations and 2009's Endgame. He was replaced with returning original Megadeth bassist David Ellefson.
