Former Nightwish vocalist, Anette Olzon, recently took part in a fan Q&A; via her Facebook page.

During the session, Anette reveals that she has parted ways with German label, earMUSIC, who released her solo album, Shine, back in March.

Asked if we can expect a new album in the new year, Anette reponds: "I actually don't know that since I have decided to part ways with my record label and go on my own. So lets see when and how I will release something. Probably will release most stuff only in the internet and iTunes and so on since album sales are so bad nowadays."

Asked if she plans on remaining a solo artist, or if we can expect her to join a band in the future, Anette answers: "I don't know actually, 'cause I think being in a band is so much easier than being solo in some ways... So if I find a band that is a bit bigger and I like the music, I would join.

When another fan asks, 'do you think you'll release a rock/metal album?', Olzon responds: "I am sure I will record more rocky songs too, even if it won't be under my name. I am planning to make some songs with my former band mate Niclas  (Olsson - Alyson Avenue) so lets see how that turns out."

Also commenting on future plans, Anette reveals: "I will finish my studies the coming years so that is a priority, but I also have music planned for the spring 2015 and lets see what happens after that."
