Friends Of RONNIE MONTROSE Tribute Show Set For November 6th

Los Angeles-based singer Keith St. John, known best for fronting Montrose the past decade before Ronnie Montrose’s tragic death, has gathered some of the Friends Of Ronnie Montrose together for a Rock The Nation concert on Thursday, November 6 at 9 p.m. at the Saddle Rack at 42011 Boscell Road in Fremont, California. The all-star line up will also include Sammy Hagar guitarist Vic Johnson, Tesla drummer Troy Luccketta, and former Quiet Riot/House Of Lords bassist Chuck Wright and more special guests to be announced.

“This is definitely not a tribute band,” St. John points out to Bestofbayarea.com . “This is nobody trying to be like anyone from the original Montrose lineup, just four guys with strong connections to music and personally to Ronnie, who want to play the music we love to play. Every time I sing any of these songs live I can still feel Ronnie in the room,” St. John said. “It is not a spooky or a spiritual thing but something that is inspired within me.”
