GLENN HUGHES - Two Shows In Tokyo Confirmed; Guitarist DOUG ALDRICH On Board

With recent announcements of live shows in South America and Europe in August, September and October, Glenn Hughes is extending his 2015 solo tour with new shows in the UK, spanning mid-October into November, and now two shows in Tokyo, Japan this December.

Joining Hughes for the Tokyo shows will be Doug Aldrich (Revolution Saints, Whitesnake, Dio) as guitar player and powerhouse Swedish drummer and longtime solo band member, Pontus Engborg.

The set will showcase highlights from Glenn's colourful career: Trapeze, Deep Purple, Black Country Communion, California Breed along with his solo material.

Whitesnake recently launched their North American tour featuring their new touring lineup of David Coverdale (vocals), Joel Hoekstra (guitar), Reb Beach (guitar), Michael Devin (bass), Tommy Aldridge (drums) and Michele Luppi (keyboards).

Glenn Hughes joined former Deep Purple bandmate Coverdale for a rendition of the Purple classic “Lay Down, Stay Down” on Tuesday, June 9th at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, CA. Fan-filmed video can be seen below:
