GODSIZED To Release Heavy Lies The Crown In April

Famed for their energetic live performances, England’s Godsized is returning with their second full length album, Heavy Lies The Crown, scheduled for release in North America April 28th via Metalville Records.
Having spent a year writing and recording the album together with producer Chris Coulter (Arcane Roots), Heavy Lies The Crown follows 2013’s debut, Time, and is an aggressive, melodic statement of intent from the UK four piece.
Featuring Glen Korner (vocals and guitars), Chris Charles (guitars), Gavin Kerrigan (bass), and Dan Kavanagh (drums) - Godsized is a gang of hard working musicians who love being in a band.
“It’s great to have signed to a respected label such as Metalville, and we are really excited that we have a release for Heavy Lies The Crown in the US and Canada,” says Kavanagh. “We have lots of friends over there, and countless heroes, so it would be an absolute honour to come and fulfill that dream by touring stateside. We’re incredibly proud of the new record and can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”Inspired by a wide range of influences such as classic rock giants Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, along with more contemporary acts such as Down, Alter Bridge, and Clutch, the eleven tracks on Heavy Lies The Crown feature a power pack of heavy, groove-laden riffs blended with big choruses, dueling guitar solos, and soaring melodic vocals.
