HELLION is working on their new compilation album To Hellion And Back and may add fan-made video and demo songs and are seeking help from their followers.

Singer Ann Boleyn posts: “We are working on the To Hellion And Back Anthology. We are considering including demo tracks and fan-made video. If you have any video footage of shows, or any of the early demos we'd like to hear from you. We are particularly looking for copies of: (1) the four-song demo that was recorded in 1982 by Paul Eihler in Tujunga; (2) any of the demos that were produced by RONNIE JAMES DIO; and (3) any of the cassettes or other recordings with the rough tracks of The Black Book. All of these were distributed as promotional items to some fans and journalists. If you have any of these items, please contact us at: newrenaissance@yahoo.com.”

The group held a contest for fans to name their new anthology and six people submitted the winning title.

With a history dating back to 1983, Boleyn credits a renewal of interest in Hellion, to the internet.

“Hellion was popular with people who didn’t depend on the mainstream media to tell them what to like,” commented Boleyn. “With new media, such as YouTube and Facebook, people are re-discovering Hellion. Plus, we are also gaining many new fans.”
“We were very surprised about the number of people who entered the contest to name the new anthology album,” continued Boleyn. “A number of people submitted the same titles as others, and some of them were very clever. Out of respect for the people who entered the contest, we are going to read each of the entries, consider them carefully, and make sure credit is given where it is due.”
