Former METALLICA bassist and NEWSTED frontman Jason Newsted recently spoke with Artisan News about being nominated for best bassist at the upcoming Golden Gods Awards with his heroes Geddy Lee (RUSH), Steve Harris (IRON MAIDEN) and Lemmy (MOTÖRHEAD), Metallica being at the awards, and renaming the award for late Metallica bassist Cliff Burton.
