JOHNNY WINTER - Small Batch Moonshine Crafted In Honor Of Late Blues Legend

Dutch’s Spirits distillery in Pine Plains, New York is commemorating blues icon Johnny Winter with a new, small batch moonshine. Johnny Winter's Mean Town Moonshine is pot-distilled, using pure cane sugar and the spring-fed waters of Harvest Homestead Farm, where bootlegging legend Dutch Schultz ran a gigantic operation in the 1930s.
Mean Town has been described as “smooth and clean, with a slight roughness around the edges, mirroring the blues of Johnny.”
Johnny Winter’s Mean Town Moonshine is distributed by ACB Bottle Company and available online and in select stores.
Johnny Winter performs "Death Letter” in the video below. Johnny's final studio performance, a solo, resonator version of the Son House classic, was captured in one take on February 4th, 2013 and included on the Grammy-winning Step Back.
