Finnish metallers KALMAH have entered the studio to record their seventh studio album and follow-up to 2010's 12 Gauge, scheduled for release in the spring. Check out footage of their drum recordings below.
Says drummer Janne Kusmin: "Drums are ready and I am happy. Recordings went pretty well. Faster songs were easy and fun to play and slower songs were hard to play. Conclusion: Slow songs suck, fast songs rule or do I need more practice? Hahaa!!!" According to a press release “with the seventh album, the band decided to go back to the roots and step out of the digital image world.” The band are also working with artist and illustrator Juha Vuorma; the man behind the band's first three albums.
More details will be revealed soon.
