KING DIAMOND To Announce Abigail Album-Related “Major News” Next Week

With the band about to wrap up their run on the Mayhem Festival 2015 tour, King Diamond have revealed that they will make a special announcement on August 3rd. King Diamond’s social media pages have been updated with the image of their 1987 concept album, Abigail, along with the following message:
“ATTENTION EVERYONE!!! Keep an eye out for some major news on August 3rd!”

On July 21st during King Diamond’s Mayhem Festival 2015 appearance at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ, the band were joined by Slayer’s Kerry King on the Mercyful Fate classic “Evil”.
King Diamond commented: “Tonight was a very special night for us. We had an amazing audience, a rogue smoke machine, and were joined on stage by the legendary Kerry King of Slayer, who played along on the entire Mercyful Fate song ‘Evil’. Kerry, it was an absolute honor to share the stage with you! Hope all of you had a memorable evening like we did."
