KISS' Gene Simmons To Fly With Sci-Fi Version Of Icarus

According to Variety, KISS' Gene Simmons and Scott Steindorff are partnering on a sci-fi version of the ancient tale Icarus based on a concept created by Simmons. Steindorff is producing through his Scott Pictures banner. Logline is under wraps other than it is centered on two characters, one the hunter and the other hunted. Scott Pictures is out to writers.
In Greek mythology, Icarus is the son of the craftsman Daedalus, who creates wings of wax and feathers to escape from Crete. Icarus ignored instructions not to fly too close to the sun, causing him to fall into the sea and drown. Read more about the myth of Icarus on Wikipedia.
