Gearing up for a European tour supporting STEEL PANTHER, Calgary-based KOBRA AND THE LOTUS have parted ways with guitarist Timothy Vega and introduced Peruvian shredder Charlie Parra del Riego as his replacement.
The band's line-up is now as follows: Kobra Paige - vocals Jasio Kulakowski - guitars Charlie Parra Del Riego - guitars Pete Dimov - bass Griffin Kissack - drums The following tour dates are scheduled: October 21 - Helsinki, Finland - The Circus 25 - Hamburg, Germany - Docks 27 - Frankfurt, Germany - Gibson 29 - Zurich, Switzerland - Volkshaus November 2 - Antwerp, Belgium - Trix Hall 3 - Cologne, Germany - Music Hall Kobra And The Lotus, who inked a deal with Universal for their new album with KISS legend Gene Simmons on board with Simmons Records as a partner - performed acoustically at Bloodstock Open Air 2012, which was held August 10th-12th at Catton Hall in Walton On Trent, Derbyshire, England.
