MACHINE HEAD Post Making Of “Now We Die” Music Video

Bay Area Metal titans Machine Head have posted a behind scenes look at the making of the video clip for the track “Now We Die”. The clip was directed by Mike Sloat (Testament, Staind) and  comes from their recently released Nuclear Blast Entertainment debut, Bloodstone & Diamonds.

The official video for "Now We Die" can be seen below:

Machine Head have been tearing up the sales charts all over the globe with the release of their new album, Bloodstone & Diamonds. In the US alone, the band sold around 18,200 copies in its first week of release to debut at position #21 on The Billboard 200 chart. This makes it their biggest first week sales and chart position in history and their 4th album in-a-row with an upward trajectory. Comparatively, the band's Unto The Locust (2011) opened with around 17,000 units to land at #22, The Blackening (2007) registered a first-week tally of just under 15,000 to enter the chart at #54, and Through The Ashes Of Empires (2004) premiered with less than 12,000 copies to debut at #88.

Comments Robb Flynn: “Bloodstone & Diamonds is Machine Head’s first ‘global’ hit record, bullying its way into the Top 20 in pretty much every territory around the world, with a handful of Top 40’s, and more than a few TOP 10 chart positions WORLDWIDE! In the US, it’s our 4th album in-a-row to sell more than, (and chart higher than), the previous album, and all at a time in which CD sales have continually dropped an average of 40% between each of our releases.”

“AND, most importantly, it was done with Nuclear Blast Entertainment, a completely 100% independently owned and operated record label. That’s right; Machine Head had better first week sales on an independent label, than we did with the last three albums, all of which were through a major label!  I cannot stress that enough!”

“It is fuckin HUGE! Fuck YES Head Cases!”

Machine Head has shared a fan-filmed "Now We Die" live video compilation, shot at Bataclan in Paris, France on November 10th, courtesy of TakeMyScars.com.

Machine Head will headline an exclusive tour starting this January, which will span all across North America. No support bands. No locals. Just a crushing two-hour set of pure fucking Machine Head.

"We’re doing ‘An Evening With’ Machine Head. Meaning: it’ll just be us, folks,” commented guitarist/vocalist Robb Flynn.  “We are really excited about the idea, playing longer sets, throwing in some deep cuts, and just having our own world. Promoters in the US seem really stoked about it, some have said it feels like ‘an event’.”

In regards to the band’s decision to only headline for this touring cycle as well as no longer play festivals, Flynn elaborates: "We’re not trying to have a good time with a bunch of people who don’t know who we are. If Machine Head throws a party, big or small, we don’t want a bunch of ‘strangers’ there. This is about us and you guys, the die-hards! The Fucking Undesirables! We don’t care about the others out there. We’re here and we’re not going anywhere, if those people want to be a part of this, they know where to find us. So for the time being, and maybe ‘forever’ we’re done reaching out for them."

VIP ticket packages are now on sale at this location. Packages include a meet and greet with the band, group photo with Machine Head, poster, flag, laminate, and Machine Head koozie. In addition, everyone that purchases the VIP experience will be entered in a drawing to win an autographed Bloodstone & Diamonds electric guitar!
