Recently signed with Jewell Lane Records, McClinton possesses a sound that appeals to a broad fan base ranging from '80s metal fans to modern rockers. Bassist Peter Riot compares the McClinton sound to: "Shinedown and 3 Days Grace moving towards Pop Evil and Rev Theory”.
This creative and dynamic group is comprised Michael McClinton (lead vocals), Marcelo Buby (guitar/vocals), Gavin Lawrence (guitar/vocals), Peter Riot (bass), and Rui Balla (drums).
McClinton has announced up and coming tour dates with Red and Art Of Dying. McClinton will be debuting their hot new single, "Crumble” (lyric video below).
The band’s new full-length recording, Final Closure, spawned the standout track, “Crumble”, which is currently embarking on a major radio campaign.
Bassist Peter Riot says: "Right now, we are all writing everyday, we are taking new material in a heavier direction with huge drums and giant bass groove. The sounds we are working on are sick." Fans are loving it.
Veteran acts are taking notice of McClinton, as evidenced by key opening slots with likes of Ace Frehley, Stryper, Dio Disciples, and Kip Winger, among others. Michael McClinton said: "The experiences alone were worth every show we've played. These are the guys who hit the mark making music what it is today."
Marsha Jewell, President/owner, Jewell Lane Records, said she is very excited to have McClinton signed to her label and expects great success from these hard working, dedicated, musicians. "Michael McClinton appears to be a man of exemplary diligence, dedication, creativity, and stability. In this business these are traits that indicate to me that McClinton is highly marketable and has what it takes to give fans awesome concert experiences."
When asked where does Michael McClinton see the band going in the future, he replied: "Future plans? We are going out on the road, meeting our fans and making new friends. McClinton wants to share the stage with other kick ass acts. I'm grateful to our label, Jewell Lane Records, for backing our tour and putting us out there rocking our music with the fans. This is what it's all about!"
