MIDNATTSOL Nominated For Metal Storm Award

According to a post at the official MIDNATTSOL website, the band has been nominated for a Metal Storm Award in the category Best Folk Metal Album for their 2005 debut, Where Twilight Dwells. Fans are invited to vote for the band at this location over the course of February.
Other bands nominated in this category include EQUILIBRIUM, MOONSORROW, KORPIKLAANI, FALKENBACH, LUMSK, PRIMORDIAL, MÄGO DE OZ and UARAL.
As previously reported, AHAB, the German funeral doom act featuring Midnattsol guitarists Christian Hector and Daniel Droste, have been confirmed to play Doom Shall Rise IV, which takes place March 31st and April 1st 2006 at the Chapel (a former US army church) in Göppingen, south-western Germany.
Confirmed acts for the event now include AGAINST NATURE, BEEHOOVER, DANTESCO, DAWN OF WINTER, DEBRIS INC., DOOMRAISER, GLOW, HEAVY LORD, IRON HEARSE, JACK FROST, LOW MANS TUNE, SOLITUDE AETURNUS, VENI DOMINE and VERSUS THE STILLBORN-MINDED.
Ahab recently signed a deal with Napalm Records. Their debut album is expected to be released later in the year.
