Mötley Crüe's The Final Tour, with special guest Alice Cooper and openers The Raskins, kicked off in Grand Rapids, MI at Van Andel Arena on July 2nd. Part of the show features a traditional Tommy Lee drum solo to the extreme, this time on a rig dubbed The Crüecifly suspended from the ceiling of the venues. Unfortunately, according to a post from Lee not everyone will get to see it: "Hi guys! Want you to know certain venues cannot handle The Crüecifly! It's not our fault their roof cannot hang the rig! It's massive!" Check out the footage of Lee and his kit in action below: Mötley Crüe's setlist on opening night was as follows: "Mutherfucker Of The Year" "Wild Side" "Primal Scream" "Same Ol' Situation (S.O.S.)" "Looks That Kill" "On With The Show" "Too Fast For Love" "All Bad Things" (World Premiere) Guitar Solo "Smokin' In The Boys' Room" (Brownsville Station cover) "Without You" "Saints Of Los Angeles" "Anarchy In The U.K." (Sex Pistols cover) "Too Young To Fall In Love" Drum Solo "Shout At The Devil" "Don't Go Away Mad (Just Go Away)" "Live Wire" "Dr. Feelgood" "Girls, Girls, Girls" "Kickstart My Heart" Encore: "Home Sweet Home" (B-Stage) See more photos at mLive.com. Check out some fan-filmed video below: Nikki Sixx checked in with the following: "It's been a fucking crazy rollercoaster ride deciding to end Mötley Crüe's career after over three decades and go out on top. The preparation started over a year ago and is just ending with the final assembly of the biggest show we've ever had. I would say this show reflects our love of being extremist. The new song "All Bad Things" sounds great in the set alongside the classics and deep fan favorites. The vibe of the tour is really fucking positive. It's a celebration and the band is tighter than we've been in years. It's also and honor to have Alice Cooper as our support act on this run. I can't imagine a better set of songs from the beginning of Alice to the final bow of Crüe." Upcoming tour dates:
