OZZY OSBOURNE has taken credit for ending the 'flower power' era of music with his act BLACK SABBATH. The group formed in the 1960s and enjoyed a string of hits with songs like 'Paranoid' and 'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath', becoming one of the most successful hard rock groups of all time.

And frontman Osbourne is proud his band helped redirect the course of musical history at the time.

He says, "We were living in Birmingham. Drizzly rain, no shoes on my feet. And I thought, 'This shit is for the rest of my life.' And I put the radio on and there's some guy singing, 'If you want to go to San Francisco, be sure to wear a flower in your hair.' I thought, 'This is bullocks, the only flower I am likely to wear is on my fucking grave.'"
