OZZY OSBOURNE, DUFF MCKAGAN, ANTHONY KIEDIS And Others Step Up For Let A Bear Sh!t In The Woods Campaign

A trio of fashionistas turned philanthropists has teamed up with the charity Animals Asia to raise awareness about the plight of moon bears, and recruited some serious star power in the form of Anthony Kiedis (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, Moby, Duff McKagan and a host of other rock stars and actors, reports NYDailyNews.com. The whole crew will appear in a series of photos and a video beginning this month.

Moon bears are a black bear that live throughout the forests in Asia. They are prized for their bile, which is used in traditional Eastern medicine to treat fevers and hangovers. But the brutal practice of extracting that bile involves locking the bears in tiny cages and inserting tubes into their gall bladders.

For the still pictures, photographer Katarina Benzova aimed to make full use of characters like Duff McKagan from Guns N' Roses, and shot images of the celebs growling and posing with an oversized bear costume.
