PHIL LYNOTT Remembered On Anniversary Of His Death - “The Legend Who's Memory Never Fades”

As fans around the world remember the late Thin Lizzy/Grand Slam legend, Philip Parris "Phil" Lynott who passed away this day (January 4th) in 1986 at the age of 36, the Black Star Riders (featuring longtime Thin Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham) and former guitarist John Sykes have issued tributes.

 

 

Black Star Riders: “Respect to the MAN, 29 years gone today and no matter how fast the years roll by, still the legend who's memory never fades. Rest in Peace Philip Parris Lynott.”

John Sykes: “We're thinking of Phil today and playing some of his tracks. It's been 29 years since his passing, Phil was a gifted poet, dear friend and a true inspiration, let's raise a glass to the memory of Philip Parris Lynott.
