PRIMAL FEAR will release their new album, Delivering The Black, on January 24th in Europe and January 28th in North America via Frontiers Records. Bassist/vocalist Mat Sinner took time from his schedule to talk to Rock Overdose about the new album.

Q: It seems that another quality album from Primal Fear is about to hit the stores, a very good album with some excellent songs that are sounding unique and full of freshness. How was the atmosphere among the band members during the recording process?

A: "Very creative, focused and peaceful! Everybody was totally into it and our engineers too. It was a fantastic album to record and to produce. We wanted the album to sound like a progress to Unbreakable and we’ve worked hard to match it - ambitioned songwriting, better riffs, better melodies, a more powerful sound and total focus on every single performance! Now we have the album finished, video clips done and a massive tour scheduled. Now the fans have to decide!"

Q: How did you choose the album's title and what does Delivering The Black mean to you?

A: "This is a statement that fits to the album cover artwork - dark, mean and powerful. We were sitting together in the tour bus and discussed various album titles, drinks flow and as we’re getting closer to the morning, we’ve chosen the album title and the overall direction!"
