QUIET RIOT’s Frankie Banali Recalls Time With Former KISS Guitarist VINNIE VINCENT – “We Were Talking About Putting A Band Together”

Quiet Riot drummer Frankie Banali is the latest guest on One On One With Mitch Lafon.

Frankie sits down with Mitch for a comprehensive interview covering the band's documentary Well Now You're Here, There's No Way Back, singer Kevin DuBrow, his time with KISS guitarist Vinnie Vincent, unreleased projects, W.A.S.P., being asked to audition for KISS in the early '80s, jamming with Ozzy Osbourne, the band's latest album 10, and a lot more.

On getting Kevin Dubrow's mother's blessing to continue Quiet Riot: "Without her approval, I would have dropped it right then and there. I would not have gone forward."

On KISS' Vinnie Vincent: "We were talking about putting a band together. He would come to my apartment in West Hollywood and play me new songs. The songs were unbelievable. He really crafted some incredible rock riffs."

Jamming with Ozzy Osbourne: "I found Ozzy to be quiet and quite a personality. He sat there on a piano bench while we ran through quite a few songs including the earliest version of ‘Over The Mountain’."
